Vivo Y27 5G: Specifications Revealed So Far

The Vivo Y27 5G is most likely a new mid-range 5G smartphone that will be released in China soon. The item has been discovered on the website Geekbench. According to the listing, the model number for the Y27 5G is V2248. The Y27 5G, according to the benchmark website, is powered by a MediaTek SoC K6833v1_64_k419.

The SoC's two primary cams have a peak clock speed of 2.2GHz, while the six secondary cores have a clock speed of 2.0GHz. According to the leaked information, the Y27 5G will use a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which is a pretty outdated and entry-level 5G CPU. Following MediaTek's latest rebranding, the chipset could be used in the Y27 5G as the Dimensity 6020 SoC.

The Mali-G57 GPU is built inside the SoC. It comes with 8GB of RAM. We may expect Vivo to debut the phone with at least 128GB of storage. It would not be surprising if the business also released a phone with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

In Geekbench 6's single-core and multi-core tests, the Y27 5G received 660 and 1839 points, respectively. It was also discovered running Android 13 out of the box, which is standard for phones released in 2023. The phone is expected to launch in China with Origin OS 3 on top of Android. If the phone is released globally, it will most likely run Funtouch OS 13 on top of Android.

According to a new NCC listing, the Y27 5G would most likely come with a 5000mAh battery. It will also enable 44W rapid charging right out of the box. The phone will have a flat frame design. It will have two huge circular cutouts resting on a rectangular camera module for the dual-camera arrangement.

While the screen size is uncertain, the phone is said to have a Full HD+ quality display with a pixel density of 440 PPI. It will have a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. Finally, the Y27 5G will have a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, speaker grill, and primary microphone on the bottom edge.
