Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi Pad tablet in India on October 4th. The upcoming Redmi tablet's specifications, design renders, and the price has already been leaked. In a new development, an unboxing video of the Redmi Pad has surfaced on the internet, revealing the overall design of the device.
The Redmi Pad, for those who are unaware, is the company's first product in the Android tablet segment, and it is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The Redmi Pad is expected to have a 10.6-inch display and a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. Let's take a look at the Redmi Pad's overall design, specifications, and features.
Redmi Pad: Design
The upcoming Redmi tablet's overall design is revealed in the unboxing video. The Redmi Pad will have a large display and symmetrical bezels. As seen in the image above, the front shooter will be housed in the top bezel (in landscape mode). The tablet will have a unibody design and a single rear camera.
The Redmi Pad's top edge will house two speakers as well as the power button. Dolby Atmos branding can also be seen in between the speakers, confirming the Redmi Pad's inclusion. The Type-C port and another pair of speakers will be located at the bottom of the Redmi Pad. The volume rockers and microSD card slot will be located on the right edge.

The video confirms that the Redmi Pad will be available with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The device will come with a 22.5W fast charging adapter and a USB Type-A to Type-C cable in the retail box. The retail box confirms that the Redmi Pad will have a 10.61-inch display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
