Redmi Note 12 Turbo Confirmed to Launch Later this Month in China

The Redmi Note 12 series is about to gain a new member. In China, the Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 Pro Plus 5G, and Note 12 Pro Speed Edition are currently available. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be available later this month, according to the company. The precise release date of the new Redmi smartphone is unknown. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is a new upper mid-range smartphone that will be released soon. With a new chip inside, the phone is likely to prioritize performance. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Note 12 Turbo will be powered by a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC.

The SoC, which is based on a 4nm process, was announced earlier this week. One prime core at 2.91GHz powers the tri-cluster setup. It features three performance cores running at 2.5GHz and four efficiency cores running at 1.8GHz. There is also an Adreno 725 GPU under the hood. The SoC is said to deliver flagship-level performance while being roughly 50% more powerful than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. It is also said to be 13% more efficient than its predecessor.

Aside from that, Xiaomi has not confirmed any information about the upcoming Turbo Note smartphone. However, some key specifications of the upcoming Note series phone have been leaked thanks to the rumour mill.

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display on the Note 12 Turbo is said to have a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen will also refresh at a rate of 120Hz. According to rumours, the phone will have a refresh rate of 144Hz. We'll have to wait for some official information to confirm the refresh rate. We can anticipate thin bezels around the flat display on the phone. The front camera will be housed in a hole-punch cutout at the top of the phone's display.

The Note 12 Turbo is said to have a triple-camera setup on the back. It will almost certainly have a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The exact sensor size and other relevant details are currently unknown.
