In India, the Realme GT 2 is now available. In an unexpected move, the business quietly unveiled the Realme GT 2 inexpensive flagship phone today, with no prior event notification or announcement. In order to provide context, the business is conducting two events in India next week. One on April 25 for the debut of the Narzo 50A Prime cheap phone, and one on April 29 for a major event. The Realme GT Neo 3, Realme Pad Mini, Realme X series Full HD smart TVs, and Realme Buds Q2s TWS will be available on April 29.

The Realme GT, along with the Realme GT 2 Pro, was announced globally a few weeks ago, and the Pro variant landed in India a few weeks ago. In an unexpected move, the company's low-cost phone is now posted on Realme's official website, along with pricing, availability, and other information. The 8GB + 128GB edition of the Realme GT 2 costs Rs 34,999, while the 12GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 38,999. The phone will be available in three colours: Paper Green, Paper White, and Steel Black. The smartphone is expected to go on sale on Flipkart and Realme.com on April 28 at 12 p.m.

The Realme GT 2 has a 120Hz 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 92.6 percent screen-to-body ratio, a resolution of 24001080 pixels, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The gadget is powered by a Snapdragon 888 5G SoC with a clock speed of up to 2.84GHz. It has up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The GT 2 is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 65W rapid charging capabilities.

The phone has a triple-camera configuration on the back, with a 50MP main camera (IMX766) with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 16MP front-facing camera is included. Out of the box, the phone runs Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0. The GT 2 has a thickness of 8.6mm and weighs 199 grams. NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, a twin speaker arrangement, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio certification are among the other features.
