Another day and another GTA 6 "leak" that has fans buzzing and probably disappointed at the prospect of waiting several years until the game is actually out. At this point, GTA 6 is more of a fictional myth than a real project that Rockstar Games may be working on, as there is complete radio silence on that front from the publisher. GTA series
The most recent leak comes from the famous Call of Duty leaker, who also happens to dabble with Tom Henderson in other games. Tom claims that his sources have brought information about GTA 6 to light because the game is being set in modern-day Vice City.
Tom has a history of leaking very accurate information about future games, including Battlefield 2042's Survival ahead of its surprise trailer. It remains to be seen whether their GTA 6 information is accurate as well, so every information has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Tom Henderson's video goes into detail about a lot of the information he found about the game such as:
- A modern-day setting in Vice City
- An Online component with Seasons and subsequent map evolution
- A 2024-2025 release date is most likely
- Live events in-game a la Fortnite
- Playable female character
- The game is still in early development
- Current-gen (PS5/Xbox Series X) and PC Only
Tom makes a point to give a disclaimer at the beginning of his video that he is not known for his GTA leaks, and this is simply the result of a large amount of information obtained from the DM and his sources.
In his video, he explains that the biggest focus of Rockstar currently is the well-being of the employees. This makes a lot of sense because Rockstar had a pretty rough time during the development of Red Dead Redemption II, resulting in an overwhelming public backlash.

Rockstar will certainly be looking to avoid a similar situation with Grand Theft Auto -- as it's the publisher's flagship franchise. Thus, fans can expect that the release date is far away as Rockstar is likely to do everything in its power to survive the crisis.
