Let's look at the ASUS ROG Phone 6 series price in India, specs, and other information.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 series was launched in India earlier this year. In July 2022, the company announced its new gaming phones. However, the sale and availability details were kept under wraps. ASUS' new gaming phones are now available in India. The ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro will be available for purchase through Vijay Sales, according to the company.
The performance unit is the new ROG Phones' selling point. The main differences between the two phones are the RAM and storage configurations, as well as the Pro model's new ROG Vision colour PMOLED display on the back. Let's look at the ASUS ROG Phone 6 series price in India, specs, and other information.
ASUS ROG Phone 6 Series Price in India and Specifications
In India, the ASUS ROG Phone 6 is available with a single storage option. The only 12GB RAM variant includes 256GB of internal storage. The price is Rs 71,999. There's also the ROG Phone 6 Pro, which has 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The Pro model costs Rs 89,999.
The ROG Phone 6 comes in Phantom Black and Storm White, while the ROG Phone 6 Pro is only available in Storm White. Both devices are available through Vijay Sales, where customers can save up to Rs 2,500 by paying with credit cards, debit cards, or EMI payments through select banks.
The ROG Phone 6 Pro is quite expensive and may appear to be overkill with 18GB of RAM. On paper, the ROG Phone 6 with 12GB of RAM appears to be the better value of the two phones for gamers looking for the best-in-class gaming experience.
Both phones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The devices include a large 6000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. The ROG Phone 6 series weighs around 240 grams with a massive battery packed inside and a cooling mechanism to keep the heat at bay. Both devices, according to Asus, use the new cooling system, which is said to reduce temperatures by up to 10 degrees.
On the front, the devices have a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz and a touch sampling rate of 720Hz. The display has a peak brightness of 1200 nits and supports HDR10+ content. They also have Gorilla Glass Victus on the front and back.
There is a 32MP front-facing camera. The devices have a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor. Both phones have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.
